Information From Generated Content

We store metadata about your compositions (duration, prompt timestamp) but not the prompts themselves unless you choose to share them as examples.

How We Use Your Data

To Provide Our Service: Compose music based on your descriptions, manage your account and credits, process payments, send important account emails.

To Improve Our Service: We use anonymized usage patterns to improve our platform. We do not use your music composition prompts or outputs to train our AI models.

To Communicate With You: Respond to your support requests, send account-related updates (not promotional — we hate spam as much as you do).

We will never sell your data. Your personal information is yours.

Data Storage and Security

Our servers are hosted on cloud infrastructure in India and the US. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard encryption, conduct regular security audits, limit access controls, and train employees on data handling.

• Active accounts: We keep your data as long as your account is active
• Deleted accounts: We delete or anonymize your data within 30 days of account deletion

You can opt out of data used for AI model improvement by emailing support@compozai.com. This doesn't affect your ability to use the service.

Children's Privacy

Compoz is not intended for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If we learn we've collected data from a child under 13, we'll delete it immediately.

Users aged 13-17 can use Compoz with parental permission. We encourage parents to supervise their teens' use.

International Data Transfers

Compoz is a global service. Your data may be transferred outside your country of residence. We use standard contractual clauses approved by authorities and other legal mechanisms to protect data during international transfers.

Compliance

Indian IT Act: We comply with India's Information Technology Act, 2000, including reasonable security practices.

GDPR (Europe): If you're in the EU/EEA, you have additional rights: right to be informed, access, rectification, erasure ("right to be forgotten"), data portability, and rights related to automated decision-making.

CCPA (California): California residents have the right to know what we collect, delete it, and opt out of sales (we don't sell your data).
